This awesome cove is covered with glass, literally covered with millions of pieces of glass that have been rounded by the rolling waves!! Glass Beach is located in MacKerricher State Park near Fort Bragg, CA. The unsharp glass was created after years of dumping garbage into the area that was tossed around and smoothed by the sea. The beach is literally covered with millions of peices glass that you can walk on bare footed. In 1967, the state decided to clean up the area, and today it is prestine (other than the remaining glass). Collecting glass is forbidden.
