Arches

Arches National Park is home to over 2000 natural arches!  It certainly has earned it's name!  It's located in on the eastern side of Utah near the town of Moab (USA).  The park is about 76,359 acres and has more than just arches.  It has a variety natural and unique geological resources and formations.  Unfortately, now and again,  a arch will collapse.  A total of 43 have collapsed since 1970.   Rock climbing on the arches is strictly prohibited but hiking, camping, star gazing, auto tours and more are still permitted.  Well,  that's about it for this evening.  I say.. GO! :)
