Green water :)!

Another great and colorful lake :).   This is Lake Verde (Green Lake) located in the southwest of Bolivia near the Chilean border at the foot of Licancabur Volcano.  Like the Red Lagoon, it is located in the Eduardo Avaroa Andean Fauna National Reserve.    It has various minerals including arsenic that render it's color.  The lake ranges in color from turquoise to dark green depending on the disturbance of the sediment by the icy winds on the lake.   The lake is salt water and can run temperatures as low as -68 degrees but remains liquid do to it's salinity.
