Just another Geyser, or not. They are all beautiful and unique, but you know what to expect. This is the Strokkur Geyser. This fountain geyser is located in the Haukadalur geothermal area near the Hvita River in the southweset area of the country (east of Reykjavik). Iceland has more than a few geysers, but this one is probably it's most famous as it erupts every 4 to 8 minutes up to 131 feet high! The area is also home to many geothermal activities such as algal deposits, mud pools and smaller geyers. Gotta love Iceland!
