Tsingy de Bemaraha Strict Nature Reserve is located on the western coast of Madagascar. The reserve is made of needle like limestone formations on cliffs over the Manabolo River. The area is incredibly sharp and it is almost impossible to pass through this limestone forest. It is comprised of unique animals, unexplored passages, a dense limestone forest with unique formations and canyons. It is home to a variety of Lemurs, reptiles, insects and plants. The terrain is well protected from intruders, fires, hungry cattle and hunters. Tsingy de Bemaraha means 'where one cannot walk barefoot' . Few people climb the rocks and even a simple fall can easily impale the most skilled climber. Looks pretty strange to me :)
