Sanxiantai Taiwan is composed of off shore islands, odd shaped rocks, boulders and coral reefs. Sanxiantai is a geological rock that turned out to be a headland, however gradual erosion cut the neck that connected it to the mainland, and thus became offshore islands. Before 1987, tourists could only reach the island during low tides. Fortunately the government build an amazing bridge that is in the shape of waves. After making it over the bridge (which does have a lot of steps), you will find a trail that takes you around the island in about 2 hours. Here you will find natural wonders such as sea trenches, caves and sea walls.
