Life on The Rocks!

Rock Islands are off the coast of Palau (officially the Republic of Palau) in the western Pacific Ocean.  It is geographically part of the larger group Micronesia.  These islands (aka Chelbacheb) are a collection of limestone and coral uprisings, relics of coral reefs that surfaced in Palau's Southern Lagoon.  There are up to 300 islands within a 18 square mile area.  The islands are not inhabited by people, however they are frequently visited by tourists.  The islands reefs make up popular areas such as the Blue Hole, Blue Corner, German Channel, Ngermeanus Island and Jellyfish Lake (which will have it's own post).   The area offers amazing dive opportunities such as wall diving, high current dives, colorful lagoons, caves and shark feeds.
