Caught Between a Rock and a Hard Place!

Castle Meur (aka the house between the rocks, La Maison du Gouffre) is located in the township of Plougrescant in Brittany, France.  Built in 1861, the home was built with it's back to the sea between two massive rocks to protect it from strong storms and seas. Castle Meur has had it's share of photographs taken over the century.  Unfortunately some Japanese tourist apparently got a bit excited by climbing on the roof damaging the structure.  Today is it owned by an American who was an original descendant of the property.
