The Kingdom of the little people is a "theme park" type attraction in Cumning, Yunnan China. The park features people with Achondroplasia and other forms of dwarfism. The parks employs over 100 little people who might otherwise have great difficulty finding employment in China. The park however has been criticized for exploiting little people and creating a human like zoo. Many of the employees report being happy and feeling less alone living in a community of little people peers. Currently the population ranges from age 19 to 48. Apparently one must be less than 53 inches, under 50 and healthy. The employees live in houses that are shaped like mushrooms that have been made accessible for little people. The park was founded in 2009 by a wealthy real estate investor. The owners ultimate goal is apparently hire over 1000 persons with dwarfism. The employees are performers who sing, dance and entertain on stage. They do ballets such as Swan Lake and some hip hop dances. The show has a dwarf king, an employee that is only 3 feet, 3 inches tall
